COMMUNITY COLLABORATION
We forge strong partnerships between schools, businesses, and STEM institutions to create a robust ecosystem of support and mentorship for young learners. This collaborative approach ensures that students are exposed to diverse career pathways and role models in STEM fields.
In October 2021, we hit the ground running with our pilot program at a South Bronx middle school in partnership with a local community-based organization. This flourishing partnership has set the foundation and has sparked interest from other middle schools not only in the South Bronx but other areas that include STEM deserts.
HIGHER EDUCATION PARTNERS
By nurturing talent and providing comprehensive support, we empower students to become the next generation of STEM leaders, innovators, and problem-solvers. Partnered with the Sandra and Edward Meyer Cancer Center at Weill Cornell Medicine, our six-week S.E.E.D. STEM Summer Innovators program instills confidence and skills in our highschoolers that extend beyond the classroom! Students stand side-by-side with Cornell scientists to take on topics such as biotechnology and genetic engineering. They also present their findings at the conclusion of the program.
