Crystal Love is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Love Charitable Foundation and the visionary behind the S.E.E.D. STEM Program. Raised in Queens, New York, by her immigrant grandparents from Puerto Rico and Honduras, Crystal developed a deep appreciation for community, perseverance, and the power of opportunity. With more than 25 years of experience in the finance industry, including leadership roles at BlackRock, Morgan Stanley, BNP Paribas, and Booz & Co., she built a successful corporate career while remaining committed to mentoring and supporting young people through education and community engagement.
Her work as a church youth mentor and teaching assistant revealed her true passion: helping children discover their potential and believe in their future. Inspired by that calling, Crystal helped create Sprout and S.E.E.D. STEM to provide engaging, hands-on learning experiences for students from all backgrounds. Through the Love Charitable Foundation, she is dedicated to expanding access to STEM education and creating opportunities that empower the next generation of innovators to learn, grow, and thrive, regardless of their circumstances.
Damon Love, PhD, is the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of the S.E.E.D. STEM Program. With over 15 years of experience in academic and industry research, Dr. Love’s work has focused on cancer and other diseases, including developing innovative genetic therapeutic strategies for solid tumors. His training spans Princeton University, Stony Brook University School of Medicine, and fellowships at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell Medical College.
Beyond his scientific achievements, Dr. Love is deeply committed to inspiring the next generation of innovators. At S.E.E.D., he translates his expertise into hands-on STEM experiences, giving students a chance to explore advanced technologies, think like researchers, and see themselves as capable scientists. Driven by the belief that every child deserves access to meaningful scientific learning, Dr. Love works to spark curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of discovery in every student.
